I loved reading most of this book because it became an experience. It’s not just a “how to” or a Christian “inspirational” book. This book is meant to be worked through. Grab a pen and a pad (or iPad in my case) and genuinely, sincerely work through God’s story as He is rewriting it for you!

Full disclosure, i was a fan of the whole book. The last bit of the book somehow turned into a time management lesson that didn’t really fit for me. I felt like I was reading a chapter from a different book and it was weird because it was the last chapter. It should have made me want to go gung no for my new rewritten life, instead the last thought made me want to delegate something.

Which will come in handy the next time you join us for a Water Bottle Handout!  It’s a simply way of saying “God Loves You” in a practical way!

By the way, mark your calendars for part 1 of the Water Bottle Blitz! (We’ll be handing out free water in the community for 3 weekends in a row!)

August 14th at 1pm - At the BEACH REACH, we’ll be handing out free water and frisbees to everyone who will be catching one more weekend at the beach before school starts!

August 21st at 10am – We’ll be doing an INTRO TO OUTREACH project which would be a great jumping on point for those of you who’ve never taken a dip into the serving pool!  Speaking of water… YUP – We’ll be handing out water to everyone at area parks.

August 28th at 10am – Part 1 of the Water Bottle Blitz wraps up with a BIG Water Bottle Handout through area parks, beaches, and intersections!  Giving away a cool FREE bottle of water on a HOT DAY is great great way to share the love of Jesus!

We’ll meet up at Crosspoint’s office for each one of these projects so I hope to see you there!

The Journey is kicking off their “Summer of Love” campaign and I’ll be there talking about how that they can easily share God’s love in practical ways!

June 9 – 11 – IGNITE at FBC Cary in Cary, NC every night at 6pm

I’ll be hanging out with FBC Cary’s Student Ministry, helping them get their summer started off right.  Illusionist Jared Hall will also be there one night.  I’m looking forward to doing ministry with him again, (if he even remembers me!)

Back at Crosspoint Church in Spring Hill, FL for the FIRED UP! Series June 13, 20, & 27

For the rest of the month, I’m glad to be back home at Crosspoint sharing the “FIRED UP!” series.  Fired Up is a “Guys Guide to Faith”, it’s all about encouraging guys, husbands, fathers, etc. to step up and be the men of God they are called to be.  This series is for those guys and the women who love them.
