- First off I spent the entire weekend either tripping, stubbing, slipping, rolling, or hitting my feet, toes, ankles, and shins! I think God was teaching me to look where I walk.
- Friday is my Saturday… I love every minute of them. This one was no different!
- We spent Friday baby sitting Keegan Riley Castelli, PaulCastelli’s baby girl. It was fun playing with her and playing house with Tina. Barkley and She-Ra liked her too… they thought she was delicious!
- Netflix is making BIG TIME money off of me! We have had the same movie for 2 months and we still haven’t watched it!
- Instead we rented one from HD-On Demand… Not what we expected. Chick Flicks have NO NEED to be in Hi-Definition!
- Saturday started off great! We partnered with the CCA (Christian Contractors Association) to help paint the home of a needy family in the area. Once again, the people of Crosspoint wowed me with their faithfulness and diligence in getting the task done! I’ll post more about this project later.
- I decided to take more pictures this time around and did way less work than I’m used to… and believe me, the work crew did NOT let me forget it! No mercy!
- Funny thing, I managed to nap through a noisy baby on Friday but I couldn’t sleep through a whiney puppy on Saturday.
- Caught the Rays vs. Royals game at the Trop with The Russ Family and Kip and his nephew Jacob. Had a blast at the game, and we didn’t spend a fortune either!
- Daughtry was in concert after the game… it took over an hour for the concert to start because the set-up crew couldn’t get their act together! (They should have had the Crosspoint crew doing it!)
- I wanted to stay for the end of the concert to hear them sing “Home” (which is the only song of their’s that I know!) But I was beat and needed to preach so we went… home.
- Sunday Sunday Sunday!
- “UP” has been my favorite series that I have preached in a long time! We switched it into the calendar a couple of months ago and it grew to be a powerful and life-changing message series.
- We were WAY short handed today, we still haven’t perfected how to handle absenses (both planned and unplanned) but in true Crosspoint fashion, our crew stepped up it’s game and it turned out beautiful.
- Got to catch the latest Baptism video… I’m blown away at the lives that are being changed for Jesus here at Crosspoint. Thank you God!
- Tough conversations are supposed to be just that. TOUGH. I don’t like them, but the end result (if done correctly) can really become a blessing.
- Tina and I conquered Sam’s and got a ton of supplies necessary for Crosspoint’s 3rd Anniversary Baptism Celebration! Getting ready just got me STOKED for this event!
